AnswerJolt Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 3, 2026
AnswerJolt is a math practice game for students from kindergarten through high school, made by TouchFirst Games (operated by Yaiton Pimentel). We wrote this policy for parents, guardians and teachers.
The short version
AnswerJolt does not collect, send or sell any information about you or your child. It has no accounts, no ads, no chat, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the game remembers stays on the device it is played on.
What the game saves, and where
To keep your child's progress between sessions, AnswerJolt saves a few things on the device only:
- The chosen grade and game mode
- Stars, best scores, medals, trophies, titles and stickers
- The best few runs of each level (score, accuracy, time)
- Daily challenge results from the last few weeks and weekly counts of right answers
- Answers to the in-game question "How did that feel?"
- How hard the game is set, and how many times a level was failed in a row
- Which tips have been seen and how Help and lessons were used
- Settings: sound, music, voice, timing, effects, number size and the grown-up settings
- A name, only if one is typed on the champion certificate
In the iPhone and Android app, a backup copy of the same data is kept in the app's own storage on the phone, so progress survives if the phone clears web data. None of this leaves the device. We cannot see it, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Deleting the data
In the game, open Grown-ups → Erase everything. This deletes all saved progress and settings on that device, including the backup copy. Deleting the app also removes everything. In the web version, clearing the browser's site data has the same effect.
Voice and sound
The voice that reads numbers and lessons is recorded and built into the game. When a sentence isn't covered by the recordings, the game may use the device's own text-to-speech. That happens on the device; the game sends no audio or text anywhere. AnswerJolt never uses the microphone or camera.
Sharing
The game never shares anything by itself. After a daily challenge, a child can make a result card or a challenge code that a grown-up can choose to send with the device's own share menu. Codes contain only the question seed, grade, mode, score, stars and timing: no names, no contact details. Grown-ups can turn sharing off in Grown-ups. The champion certificate can be saved as a picture through the device's share sheet, again only when a grown-up chooses to.
Links and purchases
The only link out of the game is to this website, inside the Grown-ups area, behind a parental check. If AnswerJolt offers optional purchases in the future, they will sit behind the same parental check. They will be handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under your account with them, and those stores' purchase settings, such as Ask to Buy and Family Link approvals, will apply. We do not receive your payment details or any personal information from those stores.
Children's privacy
AnswerJolt is made for children and is designed to collect no personal information from anyone, of any age. Because we collect nothing, we have nothing to disclose, sell or share. This is in line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws elsewhere, such as the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information, for example by emailing us, contact us and we will delete it.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply. We delete them when they're no longer needed and never share them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If we ever wanted to start collecting any information, we would update the game and this policy first, and we would ask for verifiable parental consent where the law requires it.
